ABOUT ME

My name is Serge Nepomnin. I am an artist. I love photography. I began taking my first photos when I was about ten, under the guidance of my grandmother, who was a phenomenal photographer. By now my photographic journey is stretched for over fifty years. I photograph anything that captures my eye and esthetic sense. And even though I love taking pictures of people in their raw emotional states, especially happiness, I can’t be categorized as strictly a portrait photographer. I am very eclectic. As much as I love black and white photography I do gravitate to color. 

 

Absolutely most of my career I spent in the entertainment industry, doing various jobs, often a few of them at the same time. They varied from dancing and choreography to stage designs and costume designs, and art directing. As a photographer, I had experience working in a commercial setting as well as a studio setting, and right now I am enjoying the freedom of being a freelancer. 

 

I happen to accumulate a few degrees over my lifetime, three of which are in art.
